The Big Mini

Minisite is a project that started on the thought of "I want a website that is easy to market, easy to revise, low cost, and fast." This thinking of Mr. RJ Villanueva was triggered from the hardships he and his company experienced on the latter part of 2010. So when 2011 entered, the planning for minisite started. A minisite must be a fully functional site which is integrated under the main domain which is the rjvillanueva.com, it must be at least five page static site, the clients should be able to choose from the variety of designs, it can have a facebook like page/button and twitter feed integration, and lastly the site can be finished within 48 hours. When the plan was all set, the Marvill team started creating minisites for their current clients.

After just a month, a lot of people asked Marvill to create a minisite for them because they really liked the idea of having a website with very little cost. Luckily, Mr. Villanueva has a contact in Pampanga who also liked the idea of the minisite and is willing to promote it there. Apparently, Marvill has a Meta search engine kitamo.ph and the idea of putting up another Meta search engine in kapampangan dialect (ikitme.ph) that will hold the minisites set off.

Now, every website in the ikitme.ph are categorized as Personal, Resort and Business. Personal minisite holds personal site like gretchenbarretto.ikitme.ph which is for the actress Gretchen Barretto. Resort minisites are businesses that are related to travel and relaxation. Business minisites are websites that does not fall on the category of the two.

And the minisite always carry its objective of less is more, a minisite should be concise :)
